  • Veer right in deep water because------------------------------It is dark there and there are a lot of krill,in order to eat as many as possible..

  • To catch food,which side do they favour---------------------Right.

  • On what occasions,they shift to their left---------------------When the water is between 10 to 100 feet.Moving left allows them to keep their right eye on their target. 

  • Dolphins  have two stomachs. One is used for digestion. They never chew their food, they swallow it whole. Their teeth are used only to catch their prey. Even though the average lifespan of dolphins is about 17 years, some can even live up to 50 years. It is believed that comparing the ratio size of brain to body, dolphins take the second place right after humans. Scientists have proved that dolphins give themselves names.They develop their own individual  whistles and recognize theirs  and other dolphins' names. 

  • Dolphins are toothed whales and the largest dolphin is the Orca (generally mistaken for a whale due to its name killer whale).

  • The pygmy right whale is the smallest baleen whale at 21 feet long, while the blue whale is the largest and reaches lengths of over 100 feet.
