1.  If you are in a dark room with a candle, a wood stove, and a gas lamp. You have one match, 

 so what do you light first?

 elapse before one candle would be five times longer than the other?

9. You have the misfortune clock. This one gains exactly 12 minutes every hour. It is now showing 10 pm and you know that it was correct at midnight when you set it. The clock stopped four hours ago,  what is the correct time now?

Ans- 10.20 pm. 

         Since the clock is gaining 12 minutes every hour, for every real hour that has passed,

  the clock will show 72 minutes. Since the clock shows  10.00 pm, we know that 1320 minutes 

 have passed this therefore equals 1100 real minutes and hence 18  hrs.20  minutes. The clock stopped  4 hrs ago, therefore the time must now be 22.20 pm.

10. A mother and father have 6 sons. Each son has one sister. How many people are in that family?

11. How many S's are there in the name of the longest river in the world?

Ans- None, because the longest rivers are the Nile and Amazon.
